Moisture barrier films protect against moisture, oil, oxygen, light and/or aroma. The barrier properties of flexible packaging films are very important whether you are in the food, pharmaceutical, aerospace or other industries. They ensure optimum product quality and maximize shelf life.

Our line of moisture barrier films are designed to provide packaging for ESD and moisture-sensitive items, both inside and outside an ESD protected area.

• Dri-Shield 2000 Moisture Barrier Film

The film is heat sealable and suitable for vacuum packaging. Moisture Barrier Film Dri-Shield® 2000 is a laminate of multiple layers of aluminized polyester and polyethylene. Polyester provides puncture resistance. Metal layers provide Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) shielding and help protect converted bag contents from electric field penetration and moisture.

• Dri-Shield 3700 Moisture Barrier Film

This foil moisture barrier film provides superior protection for ESD sensitive and moisture sensitive electronics, typically SMT (Surface Mount Technology) items. The best practice is to use with desiccant and a humidity indicator card. The film is heat sealable and suitable for vacuum packaging. Moisture Barrier Film Dri-Shield® 3700 is manufactured from a laminate of polyester, foil, and polyethylene. The metal layer provides discharge shielding and minimizes the penetration of electric fields and electrostatic discharges.

• Moisture Barrier Bag Dri-Shield® 2000

The moisture barrier bags are heat sealable and suitable for vacuum packaging and are printed with ESD and moisture warning symbols and a lot code for traceability.
