offers user-friendly operation while helping protect even the most sensitive components from ESD damage. The SCS 991A Overhead Ionizer meets the required limits of
ANSI/ESD S20.20 tested per ANSI/ESD STM3.1 or ESD TR53.
The combination of ESD flooring and footwear can be an effective way to ground personnel to control electrostatic discharges when us- ing a wrist strap is not practical. For this system to be effective, the ESD flooring and footwear must have a low enough resistance to al- low the voltage from the operator to flow to ground. There also must be a good contact between the person and the ESD footwear.
