These bags are part of the SCS Static Shielding Bags 1000 Series, which are made from a polyester, metal, and polyethylene laminate. This construction combines a polyester dielectric with a metal layer to provide effective discharge shielding, while the outer layer is static dissipative, allowing any electrostatic charges to be safely removed when the bag is grounded. These bags, available in sizes from 2″ to 39″ wide and 2″ to 35″ long, can be opened and closed repeatedly for easy access while providing static shield protection when the zippers are closed.
