Businesses are increasingly relying on efficient and effective ways to ensure their products arrive at their destination in optimal condition. For those dealing with temperature-sensitive goods, such as pharmaceuticals, perishable foods, or cosmetics, maintaining the right temperature during shipping is crucial. Texas Technologies has plenty of solutions for this challenge with a variety of products, such as gel packs, foam boxes, and temperature indicators.
Gel Packs
Gel packs are refrigeration tools designed to keep items cool during transit. When frozen, the gel inside the pack becomes solid and can absorb heat from the surrounding environment. As it gradually thaws, it continues to absorb heat, thereby maintaining a cooler temperature in the shipping container. This process helps to prevent temperature-sensitive products from becoming too warm, which could otherwise spoil or degrade their quality.
Texas Technologies offers different types of gel packs, including:
Sweat Proof Gel Packs
The Sweat-Proof gel packs provide thermal protection for temperature-critical packages during transit and storage. Available in a wide variety of styles and a multitude of sizes, our Sweat-Proof Gel Packs are designed to provide reliable temperature protection without the formation of condensation on the outer surface of the gel pack.
Low-Temperature Gel Packs
The low-temperature gel packs provide thermal protection for temperature-critical packages during transit and storage. Available in a wide variety of styles and a multitude of sizes, Low-Temperature Gel Packs are designed to provide reliable temperature protection for a vast array of products and packages.
Foam Shipping Boxes
The line of EPS foam with corrugate shippers offer the ideal solution for the safe storage and delivery of most refrigerated or frozen products.Texas Technologies offers a large selection of cost effective options of containers in various sizes, thickness, suitable for different timing needs.Â
Temperature indicating labelsÂ
DPI’s line of reversible temperature indicating labels are available from -30°C to 120°C. These strips are made out of a polyester (mylar) microencapsulated liquid crystal color changing ink that is accurate +/- 0.5 °C. Used as a method to monitor the current temperature, these labels change colors indicating the actual temperature where the green bar appears. Custom printed reversible temperature labels are available. This technology is widely recognized as the premier way to accurately monitor current temperature in applications such as forehead thermometers, refrigerator/freezer labels, food service, and more.
Whether you’re shipping pharmaceuticals, perishable foods, or any other temperature-sensitive products, Texas Technologies has everything you need to maintain the quality and safety of your shipments.
