This film combines the most effective multi-metal corrosion protection with strong static dissipative properties. VpCI®-125 is recommended for the packaging of integrated circuits, printed circuit boards, PCB components, telecommunications equipment, electronic and electrical panels, and enclosures.
- Contains Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI®) to protect void spaces and recessed areas
- Provides multi-metal VpCI® protection to ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- Prevents ESD damage
- Does not affect optical properties
- Does not affect plastics used in the electronic industry
- Does not contain free amines or harmful Prop 65 ingredients
- Does not affect the solderability of PCB or parts (IPC-J-STD-003C)
VARIETY OF SIZES
EcoSonic® VpCI®-125 is available in custom-size bags in both heat-sealable and zipper closure form, film, and tubing. EcoSonic® VpCI®-125 is available in thicknesses from 2-6 mils (50-150 microns), with a maximum tube size of 50” (1.3 m).
METALS PROTECTED
EcoSonic® VpCI®-125 forms a molecular layer on metal substrates, which does not interfere with the physical or chemical properties of electronic components. Metals EcoSonic® VpCI®-125 protects include:
- Steel
- Copper, alloys
- Aluminum, alloys
- Brass
- Solder
- Nickel
For metals not specifically listed above, contact Texas Technologies for information regarding their protection.
PERFORMANCE
ESD properties conform to MIL-PRF-81705 D:
- Surface resistivity between 10(5) and 10(12) Ω
- Static decay rate <2 sec
